What is WIC??

WIC is a nutrition education program that also provides highly nutritious supplemental food which promotes good health for pregnant and women who just had a baby, breastfeeding mothers, infants and children up to age 5.

Who is Eligible for WIC?

Women who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a baby less than 6 months old, and infants and children up to age 5 are eligible to apply for WIC.

To qualify for services you must:

What Does WIC Provide?

          Milk               Cereal

          Eggs              Peanut Butter or beans

          Juice             Infant formula

Tuna fish and carrots (if you are breastfeeding)

How Do I Apply?

You can call our office and we can begin to determine if you may be eligible over the phone.  If it appears that you might be eligible, we will schedule an appointment and you will meet with one of our nurses to determine if you qualify.  Also, WIC helps save money by providing nutritious foods for you at no cost and the money you save you can purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and other food WIC does not provide.

What Do I Bring to My First Visit?

Good nutrition starts with pregnancy.  It will provide the best possible start for babies and children to grow up strong and healthy.
